Last night at 2:36 a.m. I received a telephone call from Marx
Motivation 773-632-0002 (identified by my caller ID). When I picked up
the phone, there was no one there. I have received numerous calls from
this number before but never pick them up. When I call the number, I
get a telephone company message informing me that “the number you have
reached is not in service.” Can you identify the president of Marx
Motivation, company contact information (address, telephone number), and the
telephone company that provides its telephone lines?

Marx's Motivation doesn't appear to be a company and what it sounds
like is that you have a war-dialer calling your number. There are
methods of sending false ID's to your Caller ID. A war-dialer is a
program which calls a set of numbers and looks for modems or fax
machines.

Call your phone service provider if it happens again, and tell them
the times the calls have occurred. They will be able to track the
dialer through their own system and deal with the culprit for you.
War-dialing is illegal and they normally pursue these people rather
aggressively.
