 There used to be a free web based email service at: www.u2.is
one day it just vanished. This is your mission should you choose to
accept:

 my email account was gabi@u2.is, what i want to know is how/ if
possible can I still get access to my email account. I know it's not
closed down, because my freinds are still sending me mail there. I
need to know where I can login to access this account?

Tackling your problem initially looked to be something of a challenge,
as when I clicked the link you provided, it took me to TAL Internet,
an Icelandic ISP.  Icelandic, alas, is not a language I can read. 
Still, I was intrigued, so the first thing I did was send mail to the
address you provided, to see if it bounced.

It didn't, so I fed the URL to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine:
