Hi!
I have assembled this coaster myself, and I would highly recommended
*against* trying to have the coaster shipped by mail once assembled.
Not only is the coaster absolutely enormous once constructed (about 6
feet long... I can't imagine how much that would cost to ship), it is
also very difficult to move. It relies heavily on the base being on
the ground for support. While it is stable when on the ground, if you
attempt to lift it, it has a tendency to break apart. I was only able
to move ours by sliding several boards underneath and very carefully
transplanting it. It would almost surely shatter apart if you tried to
mail it.
Your best bet if you need help is to find a friendly neighbor who is
into playing with blocks and can help you assemble it at your home.
Barring that, you may try contacting your local hobby store (many
K'nex fans can be found at hobby stores) and seeing if there is
someone locally who would be willing to construct it. You might be
able to transport it safely by building it on a board and carefully
sliding it in the back of someone's truck. Considering the number of
people who are into K'nex, Legos, and the like, I'm sure you can find
some one in town who'd practically pay you to have a shot at it.
I'd also like to say, don't give up! It took myself and my kids nearly
three days to build it, but it was absolutely worth every last ounce
of effort. It is a fantastic coaster and loads of fun.
Good luck,
Spot
