Have you been using software like WebPosition Gold to check your ranking at Google?

Hi,
No, never use no software to do that... my daily stats show me.
Some months ago i receive 1,000 or more visitors from google in
www.mp3software.com.ar and something like 200 in
www.best-mp3software.com
Suddendly both sites stops receiving traffic and now i get something
like 4 visitors from google.
Tha change happens in 3 days or something like that and in both sites
at the same time.
In fact i thought that the 'editor' in the open directory was the
responsable (i read that sometimes they drop down some sites because
they own their own sites). But i look at my sites and i found it
there.

No other explanation. In a week i lost all the traffic from google. I
was ranked 1 year or more with out any trouble and suddenly get
dropped out.

Thats why im asking.

In fact i try to resumbit the sites and nothing happens. Sometimes i
cant even found it in google no matter that i use the most evident
keyword (my products name!!!), its like i was penalized or
something... im wrong?

Best Regards

http://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=108258 has a
discussion and a link to the Google page that explains why sites are
dropped and what to do. My guess is that one of your downloads decided
to complain about copyright infringement, but that's just a guess.

good luck,

But all of them WANT to be listed on 'download sites'. My links are
just a compilation of SHAREWARE software, none cracks or warez on my
page, just clean shareware links.
Shareware author are benefitiated always if get 'downloads', more
downloads = more sales.
Im a shareware author and my software are listed on every Mp3 page and
i like it.
