docie,

Can you give a few more details about what sorts of brass emblems you
are seeking? What part of a marble clock would these emblems decorate?
Where on a candelabra would these emblems fit? If you can provide the
answers to these Questions, it would better enable Researchers to find
exactly what you need.

Regards,

Hi:
I allready sent this info as requested thru email, don't know why they
couldn't have given it to you instead of me having to type it all
again!
Here is the letter that I sent to them:
Hi:
Can't access the site you posted below and not sure how to get back to
other. In the future please return my mail to me so I'll know more
about what I said in the first place.
In regards to your wanting more clarification of my question, I
thought I was Quite clear. I'll try to find a way to explain these
emblums, decorations, stick ons, screw ons, glue ons, nail ons, pin ons
etc.
These items usually are made of solid brass or bronze, mostly cast,
and are used for ornamentation of fancy items such as stone clocks and
candleobras, which are generally made of Onyx or Marble. They are flat
backed for flush application. Go to eBay, bring up antiques then go
way down and punch in clock, go to search located at top of eBay
screen, punch in item No. 730827281, if it is still there , and it was
last nite, this clock has some good examples of these emblums and
decorations or ornate applicays. These particular ones are installed
in a drilled hole in the onyx and then the hole is filled with glue,
the ornaments have pins on the back which are used to mount the brass
or bronze by sticking them in the glue.
If that item is gone, you should do this ahyway, go to search type in
onyx clock, give that a try, then type in marble clock, these two
stones seem to have the most ornamentation, you should be able to see
on these clocks the types if designs that I am talking about. You
might also try typing in the, search area, the word candleobra, these
are also very ornate and have the decorations that I am trying to
explain.
I know that they are available because they are used today on new
ornate stone colcks as well as other applications. Most of these old
clocks were made in France and countries in that local; but they were
and are also made in the U.S.
This shouldn't be hard to find given your expertise in networking.
I am purty much just learning and don't navigate the net too good yet
so I really appreciate your help.
If there is anything else you need to know in the way of clarification
please let me know, but please be more spacific as to your
clarification needs.
That will help me help you. (Googles email wasn't clear on this.)
Thanks and regards.
