Hello, I am a volunteer with a nonprofit that helps foster children. As a gift to families who support us, we would like to make candles in the shape of a house. This would symbolize the warmth of home. My question is: where can I find a candle mold in the shape of a house? I have already found gingerbread houses and lighthouses, and one "Irish cottage" mold (on eBay) but these are not generic enough (I don't think any of our donors live in lighthouses). I'd like to find something very basic -- for example, something like a children's drawing of a house. The size is open, keeping in mind I'll be making 200 of these in my kitchen over the next few months! Thanks so much, marthasvineyard | |

I have several candle & plaster mold catalogs and do not see a "generic" house in any of them. I have one more at the office I will check tomorrow. If you can't find the mold you seek, you can have one made. Here is a company that makes flexible molds: http://idealmolds.com/ |
