I work in the field of Human Resources. One of the HR newsletters I
get has announced that January is HR Month. I am looking for any
information to support this. I can't find anything on the history or
for that matter - any other reference to a month designated as Human
Resource month. Can you help? Thanks

Resource Month is sponsored by the Personnel Journal of America. Many
other calendar sites confirm the event.

There is little other information available. There is a discussion on
its aims in an article titled ‘Make the Most of Your HR Month’ on
http://humanresources.about.com/library/weekly/aa123100a.htm with
links to a forum where a similar question is posed by the author – but
not answered!

I am unable find a site for the Personnel Journal of America, nor the
date when this anniversary started.
