Joseph Durso was a famous sports writer for the NY Times, since the
40's. He received the Spink Award around '95. He authored many sports
books & biographies. I need his Birth date & yr. He was born between '25-29.

Joseph Durso was born in NYC, graduated from Columbia Univ. in 1947,
served in WWII Air Force and was the NY Times horse racing writer
