Hi there,
Im working for my website which includes LAN,WAN informations and help
guides etc. My problem is that im stuck because I cant
find relevant informations for some procedures.I would like any
website which describe in as much detail as possible the process
involved from the point a user requests a web page from a remote web
server.Including as much of the the transformations, encoding and
encapsulation of the data up to the point of the data is displayed in
the users browser. Also websites with diagrams and images showing the
procedure or each stage tha data passes through would be
usefull.Generally any website having that kind of informations.I think
am clear enough for what im looking for on the web.An answer within 3
days would be great.Thanks

I would be glad to provide some more references. Are you looking for
more information about processes on the Internet or more along the
lines of LAN/WAN?

Im looking for more information for both of them.To be more precise
like > Each stages the data passes through and the transformations
that occur to the data within those stages at as many points as
possible on its journey or the transformation, encoding and
encapsulation etc.(including the transmission) of the data from the
point of being requested from the web server to the point of the data
displayed in the users browser etc.I would like to have available more
than 1000 words so it can be fully satisfying to everyone.Give your
best shot :). Thanks

Here are some resources that go into IP transmission in pretty deep
detail:

Here are some books you may find helpful:
TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 1 : The Protocols by W. Richard Stevens.
1994.
TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 2 : The Implementation by Gary R. Wright
and W. Richard Stevens. 1995.
TCP/IP Network Administration by Craig Hunt, from O'Reilly. Second
edition, 1998.
Internetworking with TCP/IP Volume 1: Principles, Protocols, and
Architecture by Douglas Comer. Fourth edition, 2000.

These are all available on Amazon.

Good Luck!
