Hi -

I've been able to locate some consultants worldwide, but rates are
hard to come by, presumably because each situation is different.
Can you give me some more information as to what you're trying to do?
Rates will vary based on size of business, location, hours necessary,
job scope, etc.

Thanks,

Answer to Question 135986, "Create small import business in U.S.", by
neartime-ga

"I want to know the names of individuals and business who can assist
me with the creation of a small import business in the U.S. with
products from Southeast Asia and China; along with the associated
costs of their services."

The question does not identify any specific products, so this answer
assumes that any product from Southeast Asia and China is of interest
if there is a demand for it here in the U.S.

This answer will include the following:

1. Indiduals who can help you get started -- points of contact (fees
rarely posted)
2. Businesses that can provide assistance -- points of contact and
fees
3. Other institutions that can assist you -- points of contact and
fees (if any)
4. Some additional information resources that may be helpful

Items 1 and 2 are requested in the question. Items 3 and 4 are added
FYI.

1. INDIVIDUALS

To get in touch with individuals who can help you, this is the way it
usually works: you seek referrals to good candidates (experts,
consultants) from trustworthy institutions. Then you contact the
candidates to discuss the specific areas in which you need assistance,
and they tell you what they could do for you and what their fee would
be. Usually this exploration is done verbally first, then in writing
to document the assistance agreement. Fees of individual consultants
are negotiable and rarely posted, because they will depend on the
assistance to be provided. Below are listed some good starting points,
where you can get initial guidance free of charge.
