Hello Sweetcaro333-ga! Finding mailing lists these days is becoming more and more difficult. I found through personal experience that signing up for the LSDAS and LSATs was all I needed to start becoming bombarded with law school related junk mail. I'm not sure if they were able to pinpoint what schools I was interested in, but I do know that the LSDAS service records what schools the applicant applies to. Likewise, when I took the PSAT's in high school, tons of mail from various colleges and college-related businesses soon followed. For law schools, the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) administers the LSAT as well as maintains the LSDAS application service. Most law schools require the use of LSDAS, so they may be able to sell you a list that will meet your needs. Their website is: [ http://www.lsac.org/ ] Note that I did not find any information on purchasing mailing lists through their site. You can, however, contact the law school information center here: Law School Admission Council 215.968.1001 Fax: 215.968.1119 I tried to give them a ring tonight but they had already closed for the evening. I suspect somebody at the LSAC should be more than happy to sell you a list or let you know where you can get one from (I'm sure it's a substantial revenue generating operation for them). Good luck! -NishkaGA |

Although this answer gave me some information as to who might have these lists available, it was too broad and required me to do most of the research. I found my answer in one of the comments from another user that lead me to the links to Marketing Research sites. |

I'm not surprised the schools don't sell their student information; certainly that would violate privacy in one way or another. I'm unable to find any lists for sale, but you could do it yourself if you have the patience. Do a search on Google.com for @law.miami.edu. Haven't looked through them yet, but the simple search yields almost 8000 results. You'd need to go through each one, but it would build a list whose entries were current. |

Please excuse if this comment is too dumb, but could you find out the sequence of mailbox numbers at the individual schools and address the mail to "occupant"....?? |

I just posted a similar to answer to someone else looking for email lists. A good place to start is with a list broker. You won't pay any extra for using a list broker -- they receive a commission straight from the list owner -- and you'll get their expertise of the list market. Any decent broker should be able to help you navigate the market and find this very specific list for you. Google's category listing is at: http://directory.google.com/Top/Business/Marketing/Direct_Marketing/Mailing_Lists/?tc=1 Someone I've used (and like) is Mark Aaron at aaronlist@comcast.net or 800-470-LIST. |
