Question ID: 136359
I have an excel spreadsheet that I would like to have converted into
an access form (www.partos.com/excel). The form should have a running
total on our messenger charges for the week (Sunday - Saturday). (Not
the last 7 days but the current week) Print out into a report with the
same. I would like a seperate query that will give a result of that
total charges for the week (I am trying this total in a text box on
the form).

So to summarize.
1. Form. On that form running total for charges this week. Break
messenger charges into weekly groups.
2. Report that breaks messenger charges into a report that has weekly
charges (it makes it easier to compare to bills)
3. Query that has a running total for the messenger charges for the
current week.

Thanks for your help.

Hi cheaptrinkets,

I have a number of questions regarding what you are looking for on
this, but, before I get started, $50.00 is sufficient for me to take
on any one of these requests, but not all three.

Keep in mind that this is not a how-to question; it's actually a
mini-project. I have to convert your spreadsheet, build a form, build
a report, build a query, write support code to deal with weeks (harder
than it sounds because weeks can cross years), test, and have quite a
bit of RFC traffic with you both before and afterwards.

Please consider either increasing your price or simplifying your
question.

Thanks!

How much do you think I should be paying to do all three?

I can't speak for other Researchers. Someone may take this at the
current price. For myself, I'll take it on for $125.00.

Could you explain more fully what you would like to see on the Form
and how you want to use it? I've looked at your spreadsheet, and I see
what your data is. Are you looking for a form where you select a week
and can see the charges for that week in a subform? With the total of
charges at the bottom?
