Looking for scientifically correct, life size, penguin figures that can
be displayed outdoors which can include individuals of a family group,
ie male female and chick. The sight offered a choice of different
types of penguins such as emperor or rockhopper etc. (Found a web
sight last fall, but lost the address due to computer hard drive
failure.)

Hello Carryoutlady,

Is this the statue you are looking for?
http://www.lucidmatrix.com/uploads/penguinphoto.jpg

Under the photo it says:
D: 3’9”H x 3’3”L x 3’1”H

This is the only penguin offered at this website.

Thanks

RE: Penguin figures; The penguin figures were individual, not a female
with a chick. They could be purchased individually, with or without an
optional wire stand. They were from a large novelty supplier who
carried many many other lines of items of this sort. There were
plastic flamingos, dolls and other items as well. What was unusual was
the fact that you could choose the type of peguin, rockhopper, emporer
or a few others. South pole, north pole thay had it.

Dear carryoutlady -

Thanks for your question.

I have identified the following site with life-size outdoor penguins
that include adult and chick specimens.

https://secure.thebestisp.com/shell2/~penguin/purchase.html

This includes Gentoo, Chinstrap, Rockhopper, Taconite and Adelie - but
no emperors.

Let me know if this is the site you had meant to locate - if not, we
can keep looking.

Happy new year!
thanks,
ragingacademic
