Need to find companies that will sell email addresses of owners and
top execs and other information about a small-medium size business
through-out the US and Canada. Not interested in them sending emails -
need to purchase out-right. Can be opt-in, opt-out or none. Must have
at least the 3 digit zip code and telephone number. Need preliminary
pricing information and whether they have a reseller program or
partner program. Also, need contact info with name and phone
number.Not interested in a spam harvested list.

I found a place to buy e-mail addresses for business executives. You
can sort the list according to number of employees or sales, whichever
you prever. You can also sort by job title, or in some cases industry.

As far as I can tell, this list does not contain zips or phone
numbers. However, it is a double opt-in list.

It's pretty expensive, costing about $220 per thousand names, but
there are several million names to choose from.

Google Answers does not permit us to post personal information, so I
can't give you a contact name. However, I can give you a Web address

Hello bjf-ga:

I have collected a short list of companies that advertise email lists
for sale.
None of them provide pricing information, or details such as whether
their email addresses are sorted by zip code and include telephone
numbers.  They all request that you contact them for prices and other
information.  Contact info is provided, including name, phone number,
and email address.

As additional "FYI" items, I could add a couple of email marketing
directories, and a few high quality (informative content) e-marketing
websites.

I'm afraid your list is going to be nearly impossible to find. I know
since I've tried to find a similar list for my own purposes.

You have several problems. First, opt-in lists do not usually have
classification of business owner. An email list of business owners is
not going to be available.

Second, all email list brokers that I know of only rent their lists
and mail it out themselves. Frankly, if you could get someone to sell
you such a list, the price would be high, and your list would be out
of date in a few months. Not really worth while.

You only have two avenues: Magazines and Associations that will sell
your the emails off their subscriptions/members. This may be equally
hard to get. If you do find one that will sell this to you, the price
will be high.
