That would be fine, except make sure it is for the T720 CDMA Verizon
Wireless model. Motorola told me there was no option for the CDMA
model, just the GSM model.

I was interested in the T720 also...
(thanks for pointing out that GSM
is finally available). I went to 
look at the GSM versions and it
seems that the camera option (or
is it the model that uses it) is
only for a certain carrier too.
I saw a GSM phone for AT&T, but
the T720i GSM which had the camera
accessory, was only for T-Mobile.

I see you mentioned CDMA Verizon.
There might be an additional snafu 
with the exact model and carrier as 
well as the factor of whether the 
camera will be available.

good luck, I'm ordering my 'regular'
T720 tomorrow if they're available.
