The professorial position is the Regent's Chair position in the dept
of Public Administation.

If you can't get the salary for a full professor/Regent's Chair, can
you direct me to another search engine that could possibly help me?
These positions are State of Kansas positions so the salary is public
record. Thanks again - mac

Will you send me the salary ($) for the all of the levels of
professors in the public administration department? If you can't
narrow it down to the P.A. dept., just send the salaries and/or ranges
of salaries if included.
I would like the website where you located the above information, too,
if possible.

Then I'll be finished w/ this question.

Thanks.

This is not really a question, but the information you provided I know
wasn't accurate or current to real life because I know the salary
information of the individual I was looking for was a base of
$134,900. I guess I'm confused. The above figure doesn't include any
extras such as the Regents chair position or outside lectures,
publications, etc. I also know one other individual on staff at full
professor whose base pay is at $110,840 - which is out of the range
you sent me.

I understand you couldn't find further specific information, but I
wasn't satisfied with the answer. Google Answers wasn't the way to go
w/ this question, I guess. In light of the above, I'm not going to
rate the answer in any manner. Thanks for your efforts.

Dear Mac,

I reviewed the Professor's highest salary at several Universities and
the following figures are very similar to the base salary you
mentioned of $110,840 and $134,900. The source is included beneath
each figure.

University of Kansas 109386
Kent State University 110773
http://www.coe.uga.edu/salarysurvey/ss20012002/schools/75.html

University of Georgia 110484
University of Illinois at Chicago 110738
http://www.coe.uga.edu/salarysurvey/ss20012002/schools/129.html

Michigan State University 130915

University of Virginia 134800
http://www.coe.uga.edu/salarysurvey/ss20012002/schools/97.html

In addition a $5,000 base salary increase is mentioned for
Distinguished University Professors at the University of South Florida
in the following excerpt:

“The Provost will designate no more than two Distinguished University
Professors each year and individuals selected will receive a $5,000
base salary adjustment as part of the annual salary increase process
in the academic year following their selection as Distinguished
University Professors.”

Although the above information is not specifically from Wichita State,
I hope it helps clear things up a bit.

Sincerely,

Although this researcher was unable to obtain the very specific data I

comparable data from satellite sources. I appreciate the promptness &
honesty of the replies and the effort taken. Thanks, Bobby.
