do you know any way to unlock the PDF presentation which is password protected without having the password. And data can be copied or converted to powerpoint presentation. I heard you can get a shareware software which can break the password protected pdf file.

Dear destinationindia-ga, PDF files use a very weak form of security that can be bypassed with the right utility program. First use this software to crack the password: http://www.crackpassword.com/advanced_pdf_password_recovery.html You may then convert the PDF directly to Power Point with this software: http://www.laux-it.com/ For even more PDF/PPT converters: http://www.convertzone.com/ Search Strategy: crack pdf password convert pdf to ppt Happy cracking! sweetcaro333-ga

As a last resort, if you don't have any need to edit the resulting file at all, you can 1. Take screenshots of the PDF page by page (using Alt-PrintScreen) 2. Paste them into a picture editing program (like Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Paint (which comes with Windows)) 3. Crop the browser out of the picture 4. Save them as a bitmap, or gif 5. Insert them as pictures into a Powerpoint file |

One of the tricks that I have tried is to convert the PDF file into a PS file (this is trivial if you have access to a linux/unix box with pdf2ps and ps2pdf filters) and convert the PS file back to PDF. This has worked for me but the resulting PDF file did not have the same quality (resolution of images etc) as the original. You can use one of the techniques listed above to convert the "cracked" PDF file to a MS powerpoint file. Drawbacks : -Need access to PDF <-> PS filters -Resulting image resolution may not be the same as the original Hope this helps. -Kamban |

convert from pdf to ps and back does not allowed with encrypted files, below is script message of distiller: "This PostScript file was created from an encrypted PDF file. Redistilling encrypted PDF is not permitted." |
