Approximately three years ago, I purchased a winter jacket from Bass
Pro Shops, that was made in Faitau, Canada by a company of the name of
Trailways. I have been unable since then to find items made by them,
and Bass no longer carries their line. I would like to locate the
company, and possibly get their catalog,
and find out their outlet stores in the U.S.

By searching the trademark database of the Canadian Intellectual
Property Office, I was able to find out that the use of the brand
"Trailways" in connection with clothing is the exclusive right of
"Winnipeg Pants & Sportswear Mfg. Ltd.", doing business as "Richlu
Sportswear".
I succesfully performed a search for their website and learned that
among their specialties are winter clothes, namely winter jackets.
Their So I have no doubt that Richlu is the company that has
manufactured the jacket you own.

Additional search provided me information from the Canadian Apparel
Federation: "Trailways" is, together with Tough Duck, Work King,
Workhorse, Golden Goose, Arctic King, Uniwear, Natural Habitat, and
Iceman, definitely a Richlu Sportswear Ltd. brand.

Also, I would like to add that "Faitau" is not a place name. "Fait au
Canada" is French, meaning "Made in Canada". So searching for a
Canadian town of this name would be futile.

Richlu Sportswear Ltd. do not have a list of dealers and outlets on
their website, neither for Canada nor the United States. But you can
contact them vie mail, phone, e-mail, or fax to request information on
how and where to obtain their products and other details that might be
of interest for you:
