Hi! Thanks for the question.

When it comes to making domain names it is always believed not to
resort to the use of hyphens.

"DON'T use hyphens between words if possible. A domain name with
hyphens is harder to describe when said aloud. It is commonly accepted
that a domain name with multiple words does not include hyphens."

A name that is also too long to be remembered by your clients or
visitors is also not good practice.

"DO keep domain names short and simple. Generally, the shorter the
domain name the easier it is to remember or write down, and the less
chance of users noting and remembering it incorrectly. Restrict the
domain name to one, two or three words at most. (The one exception to
this is the next tip). All other things being equal, give preference
to words with fewer syllables and words that are easy to pronounce.
Short is good, but don't use difficult to remember acronyms, such as
qmxf."

However when it comes to search engine placements, hyphenated domain
names are good. In this article, it expounds that it is ok to use a
domain name like yours but it would be handy as well to register a
version without hyphens.

“The hyphenated version of a domain name is the more search engine
friendly of the two. Some engines can only read hyphenated urls, and
recognize the key phrases within them, but will only see the
un-hyphenated version as a jumble of letters. Having key words within
a domain name may increase the relevancy "score" on some search
engines. Ideally your domain name will consist of, or fully contain,
your primary key phrase.”

“There are two reasons for registering the unhyphenated version in
addition. The first is because it is more memorable, probably, and
easier/faster to type for repeat visitors. Someone guessing the URL is
more likely to type it in without using the hyphens. The second reason
is to protect your domain name. It is very easy for other people to
register domain names that are very similar to your own, and set up
similar or competing web sites. So don't be afraid to register any
similar phrases necessary to protect your own. Although this is not
the ideal way for domain names to be used, there are enough
unscrupulous types out there to make this a worthwhile investment.”

It seems that your domain name isn’t really bad but you might still
want to make changes to the name itself so as to make it easier to
remember.

By looking at your website, I have come up with some domain names you
might want to use based on the products you provide. I also included
the link to the possible name variations.

With the cost of a domain registration starting at under$10 / yr, why
not get both, and point them both to the same site. (Your webmaster
should be able to arrange this easily) That also works welll when
there is an easily mis-spelled name. There is no limit as to how many
names can go to one site, or they could go to a page telling the user
the correct name befor automaticly transfering them.
