Hello: The latest news form the Global Rewards Action commitee revealed that there is little hope for any members to get there global rewards points back. According to the members of Action Group, there's little hope of global rewards being "made whole," either through the normal liquidation process or class-action lawsuits and there seems no place to get your points statement back. http://www.travelbiz.com.au/articles/e8/0c0110e8.asp BUT I MAY BE WRONG. I assume that you want to get advantage from some other programs by showing them your points statement. The best place to post your question is http://www.frequentflyerclub.com.au. They are the proven authority on such questions. You should also try the following websites for your questions: http://www.webflyer.com http://www.frequentflier.com http://www.insideflyer.com It might also be impossible to reddeem any of your points to any of the star alliance members. Star Alliance members not willing to transfer http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/press/ct23Sep01.htm FAQ http://www.star-alliance.com/isroot/SA/htmen/member_ANS.htm But you can always seek the help of Tesna Holdings Pty Ltd who are willing to provide additional benefits and extra miles to former Global Awards members. http://www.ansett.goodvalue.com.au/pages/default.cfm?page_id=6720 You can also seek help from WestPac and Dinners Club offereing rewards to former global alliance members. More flexible program from WestPac and Dinners Club http://old.smh.com.au/news/0111/27/national/national17.html TripleAclub is another valuable option. You can redeem in TripleAclub http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/08/06/1028157936086.html Other useful articles. copy of lawsuits http://www.ansett.com.au/administrator/ You can get more benefits http://www.ansett.goodvalue.com.au/pages/default.cfm?page_id=6720 I will agin suggest you to ask http://www.frequentflyerclub.com.au. and such websites (mentioned above)for the best alternative. They might suggest you the best deal. Hope everything will go fine from here. Please clarify if you have further questions. We can work together. Thanks for asking and Good Luck. Sincerely, leader-ga |

According to United Airlines, while you can't transfer your points to their scheme, they are making a generous offer to Ansett Reward customers: http://www.unitedairlines.com.au/home/en/about/pressroom/2001_10_26.html |
