Is Hunza Bread truly the weight loss miracle we've been waiting for? Where in New Jersey can we buy it... not the recipe, but the bread itself, ready to eat? |

Any loaf based on whole grains, with the addition of moderate amounts of dried fruit, nuts and seeds if desired, would provide you with complex carbohydrates and fiber that would help supress hunger. Obviously, slathering a slice with butter would not do much for weight loss! A bowl of sugar-free muesli, again with some fruit, nuts and seeds, and served with skimmed milk, low-fat yogurt or fruit juice, would have the same effect. Replacing all processed grains (white bread etc) with whole grains in your diet would also give similar results, because you would feel fuller after eating these. The breads actually eaten by real Hunzas are nothing like the fruit loaf being perpetrated in the email scam: http://www.utopiasprings.com/chapatti.htm |
