How does one manifest divine intellegence? Who are the people and their stories of their spiritual awakening and their life afterwards. How does one go-about tapping into divine intellengce. How does this "awakening" help the planet earth and its group conscieceness to man's soul evolution. Places and people to see after an awakening - support and help. What are some of the examples other people have had and there journey. What is the proof and/or system that validates this theory? |

Hi, First off, wow! big question. Two groups come to mind which fit your needs for the points of your question. The first is Science of Mind, and the second A course in Miracles. There are others of course, but these two have lasted a very long time in this area and after looking around for several years I found them to be more or less, the most "comfortable" on several levels, including "not feeling like a scam" and level headedness. Divine intelligence is normally defined as the mind of God in ours.To manifest Divine Intelligence we must first realize that there is only God. There is not some greying old man or power sitting some where outside of ourselves watching us. There is no distinction between what we see and what we feel and what is God. There is only God. Once this has been drilled home on a basic fundamental level, then we realize we are also using a divine intelligence in our lives. Our first small steps into this way of thinking is to realized that there are no big or small problems to God. They are all the same size. Focusing on the size of a problem is using our human "little brains" not a divine mind. Whatever it is, and how ever important we have decided a certain problem is, we are wrong on the divine level. Knowing that here is only god suggests that there are only answers, it is we that suggest otherwise. We say there is no right without a wrong, we say there is no up with out a down, and we say that when we have a problem there must be a solution for it. We say a lot of stuff. But to the divine mind there is no problem, no up, no down, no large or small. Everything and everyone is on the same level. Christ said "the meek shall inherit the earth", and I guess they deserve that, because the divine mind is not a meek mind and the inheritance of the Christ is the heavens. Most people are asleep, Jesus even suggests this when his disciples ask why he preaches in parables. Basically his answer to them is "What the heck, most of them aren't going to get it anyway." One of the things we have to do is separate the real from the false. For instance, we stop fighting about things that don't matter. I was at a Christmas party where one of the guests insisted that the date of Dec 25 was in fact the Christ's birthday, when we know it wasn't, he was born in April and the 4th Pope changed the celebration to January 6th, which was then change to Dec 25th to cope with existing celebrations for the winter solstice. I listened to this and realized that it really doesn't matter. He was born, we know that, and he did die, we know that too. The only thing that really matters here is can I look into this man's eyes and see the face of God, and know that he to is part of God as all things are a part of God. The rest doesn't matter. I know that I'm focusing here on the Christ and that's a bit misleading, and really I'm only doing it because of convenience. The divine mind is universal and can be heard in all languages through all experiences. We begin to understand that the music of God is so apparent and so loud that we hear it all the time, and thus discontinue hearing it, all we really have to do is stop listening to all the garbage we have put up to drown it out. Turn on the light, so to speak. You don't chase darkness from a room with a baseball bat, shouting "Get out of here darkness", you simply turn on a light. Who are the people and their stories of their spiritual awakening and their life afterwards. There are several I can name here, but I will go with Marianne Williamson and list a number of books she has written in the links area below. I've met her several times and have worked with Jacob Glass as well. I'll post his website down there as well. This part of the question is kind of like asking me who got drivers licences today and how did it change their lives. In fact the similarities are so amazing I may have to bring that up to Jacob and write a post on my website about this subject. How does this "awakening" help the planet earth and its group conscieceness to man's soul evolution. We know that even the smallest change in a strand of DNA can alter the being completely. So it is with the single awakening of a single spirt in this great big world. But to Divine mind we don't seek to change the world, we seek to change ourselves because they are one and the same. Again, the divine mind is all that there is. What is the proof and/or system that validates this theory? I would be happy to answer this part but I have no idea what context you are looking for this in. I suggest a Clarification Request here with a context and I'll follow up with a specific answer. I think the resources below are going to answer this more than adequately but I'm willing to include more if you expound on this part. I'm going to post a few links for you now and if you have questions I would be happy to clarify them. I could write all day on this subject, as I do most days, but really you should get with a group of like minded people and turn on a light or two. I would simply add that you might wish to explore the vast field of the Western Mysteries. One of the precepts of the Mysteries is: "When the seeker is ready, the teacher will appear". This means being in the right mindset, sending out the right messages, until... For some this is a process of decades, for others it is shorter. As for proof and validation. There is none, for it can only come from within, and therefore cannot be truly communicated to another. I wish you well in your seeking. Remember also, that the true teachers of these matters do not seek payment. Beware of anyone who wishes to extort a lot of money from you, whatever promises they might make. |

Your researcher did a good job on answering your questions, but there is one author and one publication that also does so while going even further. That author is Deepak Chopra, and the book is titled "How to Know God". I suggest you run, don't walk, to your nearest bookseller to obtain a copy. I would also like to comment on webadept-ga's focus on Christian interpretation, which he/she has already acknowledged. Normative law in society is often based on religious principles, but that is also why it's called "normative" and not "empirical" law. There is no "proof" of anyone's theory concerning religious ethics because there is no empirical evidence to support them. Not in the Bible, not in the Koran, not in the Torah - nowhere. There are in some cases observable data, but that's all. Once we are left with data which SEEMS to support a given theory but which lacks scientific proof, we enter the realm of metaphysics. In my view we need to accept that fact and leave it there. My general comment in this area would be that all theories of religion and spirituality belong to the metaphysical, and that Mankind's dreamed-of final answer to its questions of "Who am I? Why am I here? and Where am I going?" will forever remain as individual and varied as there are persons who would ask. |

Thank you for raising this fascinating topic. Today I was reading Dr Richard Moss's book, "The I that is We," and he describes in detail his own spontaneous awakening. He had to learn to go beyond his own concepts, his own emotional biography and even beyond his own relationships (or ideas about them), in the course of opening to the power and light of God in his life. I find it amazing that he was able to do * all this * on his own, without any help from an advanced teacher or even from a book like A Course In Miracles. (I've only read bits of Dr Moss's book.) It's quite an achievement. Even the really great Indian mystics, Ramana Maharshi, Mother, Vivekananda . . . most of them had a teacher. I do think we are coming to a point in human history where more and more people are going to want to "wake up," and to do this we -- most of us, need help. In A Course In Miracles, it says that there are ten thousand paths to enlightenment. And so there are, to be sure. I'm sure. (It has to be easy. It's just a case of wanting it, or of being so devastated -- through imprisonment (Sri Aurobindo maybe), "mental illness" (Eckhart Tolle), addiction (some in AA, not many maybe, but some), that the Truth comes sweeping into one's mind.) "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Story of awakening ================== Until my thirtieth year, I lived in a state of almost continuous anxiety interspersed with periods of suicidal depression. It feels now as if I am talking about some past lifetime or somebody else's life. One night not long after my twenty-ninth birthday, I woke up in the early hours with a feeling of absolute dread. I had woken up with such a feeling many times before, but this time it was more intense than it had ever been. ... "I cannot live with myself any longer." This was the thought that kept repeating itself in my mind. Then suddenly I became aware of what a peculiar thought it was. "Am I one or two? If I cannot live with myself, there must be two of me: the '1' and the 'self' that 'I cannot live with." "Maybe," I thought, "only one of them is real." I was so stunned by this strange realization that my mind stopped. I was fully conscious, but there were no more thoughts. Then I felt drawn into what seemed like a vortex of energy. It was a slow movement at first and then accelerated. I was gripped by an intense fear, and my body started to shake. I heard the words "resist nothing," as if spoken inside my chest. I could feel myself being sucked into a void. It felt as if the void was inside myself rather than outside. Suddenly, there was no more fear, and I let myself fall into that void. I have no recollection of what happened after that. I was awakened by the chirping of a bird outside the window. I had never heard such a sound before. Without any thought, I felt, I knew, that there is infinitely more to light than we realize. That soft luminosity filtering through the curtains was love itself. http://www.eckharttolle.com/mystics_masters.htm Where to go after an awakening ============================== Number One, the best help is from somebody who is completely and totally awake! Here is one perspective from a disciple of Sai Baba: I asked myself: Are this person's teachings in accordance with the ancient wisdom, with the essence of what is taught by all the world religions, saints or spiritual masters? Is he living what he teaches? And, for me on a personal level: Can I trust his purity and integrity? Does he have any personal investment in being an adored figure? Will he abuse my trust or will he respond to it with integrity? http://www.visioform.com/Articles/Searching_for_Identity.html#how are we to know if somebody Another, from a minister in the US, who provides counselling on his website: Feeling the presence of an advanced teacher of God and working with him or her to have all the puzzle pieces come together is an amazing experience. First you think you have problems. Then you find all your solutions falling into place and you may not even know how it happened. So the spiritual counseling you experience with an advanced teacher of God is quite different than counseling you might experience in the world. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/1171/counsel.html The human race and planet earth =============================== The time has come on earth for the maturing and emergence of individuals with genuinely expanded ranges of consciousness/mind. Historically humans have described these individuals as Masters or avatars or adepts or initiates or even Saviors or Man-Gods. The accelerated evolution (or even revolution) of mind now in progress on the planet involves the metamorphosis of what can be termed later-day Masters. The material contained herein is representational of the thinking of this sort of new mindedness. It is an absolutely enlightened order of thought. Face it, the human race is finally going to have look squarely at the idea of atonement or resurrection or a dramatic shift in self-identity or whatever else you call it. http://www.spiritualteachersnotebook.com/preface.html Finding -- and testing -- a teacher: Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna ==================================================================== The great soul in Narendranath [Vivekananda] readily recognized the extraordinary greatness in Sri Ramakrishna in the form of true love for God and great renunciation. However, his skepticism and logical mind was not ready to accept the 'powers' manifested in Sri Ramakrishna. He thought that this 'simple insane' Brahmin might be playing tricks with others in the form of hypnotism or mesmerism. His trance and Samadhi were thought to be the whims and play of mind/psyche rather than divine super-conscious states. In fact Swami Vivekananda postponed his visit to Dakshineswar for about six months, although he had promised Sri Ramakrishna to visit him soon. But at last the call of Divine was far too powerful for Narendra to resist anymore. And one afternoon, alone on foot, he started for the second meeting with his mentor, and would be Guru, Sri Ramakrishna. And what did he say? He asked, "Sir, have you seen God?" Calmly Sri Ramakrishna replied, "Yes, I see Him as clearly as one sees an apple over the palm, nay, even more intently! And not only this, you can also see Him." This unusual and most confident answer turned Narendra to more perplexity and surprise. He had been asking the same question 'Sir, have you seen God' to many a great religious and noble persons, but he never got such clear cut answer from any of them. Many religious Pundits, Devendranath Tagore and many scholars of Brahmo Movement were reluctant to answer his question with any authority or resoluteness. But today he got the most emphatic answer in positive. http://www.indianest.com/people/03002.htm Best wishes!!! And I hope you find the above helpful. intotravel-ga |

To find out what God`s intelligence is like, it is necessary to go to the Bible. HE explains himself at Isaiah 55;8 "For the thoughts of you people are not my thoughts, nor are my ways, your ways. We cannot even begin to understand how much more intelligence God has above us mere humans. But even so, HE chooses people to do HIS will. HE chose Abram, later Abraham [Nehemiah 9;7] HE chose David, [1 Kings 11;34 " ./..for the sake of David my servant, WHOM I CHOSE". Jesus said at John 6;70 " I chose you twelve, did I not?". and who did God choose. This is answered at 1 Corinthians 1;27 " But God chose the foolish things of the world, that he might put the wise men to shame, and God chose the weak things of the world, that he might put the strong things to shame" And verse 28, " and God chose the ignoble things of the world and the things looked down upon, the things that are not, THAT HE MIGHT BRING TO NOTHING, THE THINGS THAT ARE' So it does not take too much brainpower to see that God is looking for certain qualities in people, namely humbleness, kindness, compassion, and peaceableness. The maqjor religions of the world these days do not possess any of these qualities, as organizations, but individuals within these organizations just might. And is God intelligent from a scientific viewpoint. Just look at Genesis 1;1 "In the beginning.... |
