Do you mean authors of fiction about Shakespeare, authors of
biographies of Shakespeare or authors of academic studies about the
works of Shakespeare?

the teacher's question was Who wrote books about Shakespeare? I think
biographies would probably be best, but fiction might also be
included.

Hi killermunchkin-ga,

Thanks for your question.

There have been a number of famous authors who wrote about Shakespeare
from a variety of different aspects. Based on your pricing for this
question, I’m afraid it’s not going to be an exhaustive list. I’ve
also tried to give you authors that fit in the alphabetical range you
listed on your other questions.

Anthony Burgess, the author of “A Clockwork Orange,” wrote
“Shakespeare” in 1970.
