Thanks for the fascinating question! To answer it, I found the
entire movie script online and went through it picking
out everything that the two characters consumed - some
of which might not be thought of as "traditional" drinks.
(I felt this was a preferable strategy to watching the movie
since the script often mentioned what type of drinks were
being consumed.)
As well, there are many times in the script where it is implied
that Withnail and I have been drinking between scenes.
Since I cannot be sure what it was they drank, I left these out -
except when there was a *direct* implication, such as a request
for "another double scotch" or "you are plastered on scotch".
In those cases, I included the implied drinks.
