Dear thekidcost-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question.

Medicare, and indeed many other forms of health insurance, utilize the
Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) to identify
procedures primarily (but perhaps not exclusively) for billing
purposes. The code you are referring to, “C2614”, otherwise known, as
“HCPCS Code C2614” is one of the many codes used by providers to
report supplies, durable medical equipment (DME), non-physician
services and injectables to Medicare and other payers.

From what I have been able to determine, HCPCS Code C2614 appears to
be “brachytherapy solution/liquid, I-125”.

Unfortunately, no one here can tell you exactly how much is
reimbursable to you since we are not familiar with your personal
details. The authorized amount of reimbursement varies from depending
upon a number of factors including but not limited to payer, provider,
etc. There is a way to find out however. You should go to this
official site and input your identifying data in an effort to
determine who you local Medicare Carrier is. Then contact them with
your question and they can provide you with an answer based on your
individual data, as compared to the 2003 HCPCS Code Index.
