That is indeed beautiful furniture! I contacted the company directly
to try to get a list of retailers for you that carry the "Lester"
sectional sofa. I am also contacting the companies on the internet
that do have it but do not have prices listed. If you don't mind
telling me what state you live in, I will list the results closest to

I'd just like to comment that oftentimes furniture retailers
(especially outlet or discounters) will not release price quotes for
furniture over the internet unless a person registers with them.  I
ran into this problem when shopping for furniture, because I was
interested in making a trip to High Point, NC (which is a big
furniture center) but wanted to know who had the best prices first. 
According to http://www.hpfurniture.com/faqs.htm#3, "many
manufacturers contractually require discount dealers to refrain from
mentioning either their product names or prices on-line to protect the
interests of local dealers around the country."  Hopefully wellen will
be able to get responses from dealers for you!

Although there are numerous web sites that mention "Jonathan Louis" as
one of the brand names they carry, -librariankt's comment was quite
right, they do not seem to be willing to release price quotes via the
internet. Each company that responded to me only referred me directly
to the Jonathan Louis web site at
( http://www.jonathanlouis.net ). The 'Lester' sectional sofa is
displayed at

The Jonathan Louis company did not respond to my request for a list of
retailers who carry the 'Lester' sectional sofa. If you would like to
contact them directly, since you are the actual buyer, they can be

One web site I found might also be helpful. If you go to
( http://www.furniturefan.com/vendors/mfrdirectory.aspx ) and scroll
down to the bottom of the page, there is a search box that says 'Find
Stores for Manufacturers'. Select 'Jonathan Louis', then click 'Find'.
It will bring up a screen where you can enter your zip code and find
the retailers in your area who carry this brand. However, you would
have to contact them to find out if they carry the 'Lester' sectional
sofa.

Perhaps another researcher has more information for you.

Hello Skiduchi,

I wanted to let you know that I received a reply from Jonathan Louis
Company after my last post here.

Their reply said: "Macy's in California carry this sectional as well
as Levitz on the west coast and the east coast.  Hecht's in Washington
DC area and Foley's in the Texas area." They did not provide any other
information, but hopefully this may help some.
