Thanks Answerfinder-GA.  I received an email telling me to come here
and provide clarification, but not sure what you want clairified.  The
telethon was held for four hours starting at 1:30PM west coast time
and ended at 5:30PM on January 5, 2003.  It was called "An Evening of
Stars" and was to benifit the United Negro College Fund.  The host was
Lou Rawls.  One of the performers was Gerald Levert and by the time I
started to watch he was finishing a song that I really would like to
know the name of.  Not sure if this was his first song or if he had
sung more than one up to that point.  He did sing one final song so I
know for sure he sang at least 2.  Again thank you for your trouble
and I'll patiently await your findings.

Just want to say thank you to my answerfinder for the information I
