Hi crookham-ga,

Thanks for your question.

The article you're looking for can be found in the March 7, 1955 issue
of Life Magazine. The complete citation is:

"Two-Year Anniversary: The Horace Dodge Jrs. Celebrate a Turbulent Two
Years with a $16,000 Party." Life Magazine, vol. 38, no. 10, pp
133-134;136, March 7, 1955.

The three page photo spread depicts some of the preparation for the
party (it had an "Oriental" theme as well as events from the evening.
Guests included Vera Ellen, Victor Rothschild, and Terry Moore.

If you are interested in purchasing this particular issue, there are
several places you might try.

Hello,

I was unable to locate this article for you but I have some emails in
circulation and I might receive a response from you.

In the meantime, if you remember the cover, perhaps you can find it by
looking through the 1955 Life Magazine covers. If not, hopefully
another researcher will be able to better assist you.

Hello again,

I posted too soon by mistake.

"Receive a response from you" should read: Receive a response for you.

I also wanted to include this link:

Tisme and Crookham --

Interestingly enough it DOESN'T appear in the index to the Reader's
Guide to Periodical Literature, a print index, during that period.

Best regards,
