Are you sure of the precise wording of the title? If not, it would be
helpful for me to know if the video concerns a particular aspect of
science; e.g., evolution vs. creationism, climate science, academic
research.

I teach statistics. At the beginning of this semester, after talking
about "How to Lie with Statistics" by Darrell Huff, one student said
she had viewed a film titled "Why Scientists Lie" in a research
methology class at another institution. It sounded interesting, but
no one I know seems to know of this film and I couldn't find it
either. That's about what I know. . . .

Cliff -

I did not find anything by this title in WorldCat, which is a database
of books, journals, videos, etc. owned by academic libraries in the
US, Canada, and the UK. Are you sure you have the right title? If
you could let us know how you heard of it it would be very helpful.

Thanks,

There was an essay "When Scientists Lie" written by Rushworth Kidder,
president and found of the Institute for Global Ethics back in Aug.
1999:

The Web site indicates that the Institute for Global Ethics has a
couple of videos for sale, but neither appears to be precisely focused
on this same issue.
