Name of boat building firm or boat equipment maker in Cancale, near St
Malo, France. Name is something like "MLE le Vilaire". Definitely
three words, first word three letters, second word two letters (le or
de), third word thought to have seven letters. They make commercial
fishing boats or equipment including pumps. Only other information
from blurred photograph shows a boat with the name ARMEDI on the back. |

Dear pip72,
I searched all kinds of directories, but among the naval equipment
companies and shipyards in Cancale, none has a name even vaguely
resembling the one you provided.
Is it possible that you are the victim of a misunderstanding? I found
out that the town of Cancale is located in the French département
"Ille et Vilaine", which looks suspiciously similar to "Mle le
Vilaire".

Dear pip72,
Through extensive research, I have been able to collect a list of boat
manufacturers in the St. Malo area. I have, as far as possible,
checked the companies I found and used the results for editing the
list: I have already removed all boatmakers who are clearly not using
aluminium at all, as well as all small shipwrights who are only active
in the fields of repair and maintanance, but don't build boats
themselves. Also, I removed all companies too far away from the St.
Malo area. I hope this list proves useful for you.
