I am looking for a list of Convenience Store Equipment dealers and/or
distributors.  I would like to see this list on a regional basis, ie;
Southeast, Mid Atlantic, Northeast, Mid America, Southwest, Northwest.
I could use this list by large states that coincide with the regional
line up. Typical equipment is of a traditional Convenience Store type
including food service equipment. I already have the large National
Distributors such as Fortier, Inc. so I need more regional players.

I am collecting a list, but just to make sure, please let me know if
all the following are included in your definition of "convenience
store equipment" (not sure about those with a question mark). Also,
is there any other c-store equipment missing from the list?

Ice Machines
Ice Cream Machines
Beverage Equipment
Refrigeration Equipment
Fast Food Equipment
Safes
Cabinets
Computers
Car Wash (?)
Cigarette Machines (?)
Gasoline Pumps (?)
Air Compressors
Fryolators/Ovens/Grills
Gas/Electric Water Heaters
Air Conditioning Condensors
Oil/Gas Heaters & Furnaces
Meat Slicer
Sump Pump
Exhaust Fans
Garbage Compactors

Thanks,

Hello:

After extensive research I found out that the most comprehensive guide
to distributors and wholesalers of convenience store products is
listed in the Annual Convenience Store Guidebook. It contains a world
of information covering almost 900 pages. You can also search reigon
by reigon or state by state. You can buy the directory in paperback or
CD-Rom version at
http://www.csnews.com/csnews/business_resources/print_directories/marketguidebook.jsp

Please note that this directory is available from the Convenience
Store News Magazine http://www.csnews.com . BUT THAT’S NOT ALL. The
management at the CS NEWS ONLINE has also told me that they published
a list of top 50 distributors in their October 2000 Issue. The issue
also contains a list of top 1000 distributors. For your interest, I
was also able to locate a webpage where it lists a news article about
the publishing of such a list. The address is
http://www.inwsupply.com/s4.html

I will highly recommend you to go online at the CS NEWS Magazine's
website at http://www.csnews.com and subscribe for the magazine. I was
further told that you can also get the October 2000 Issue at an
additional cost. They have also published some very useful reports and
analysis at Reports and Analysis
http://www.csnews.com/csnews/reports_analysis/index.jsp

You can also get an online list of some of the distributors of
convenience store equipment at the following websites:

List of distributors form National Association of Convenience Stores
http://www.nacsonline.com/BuyersGuide/

Buyer’s Guide
http://www.mediabrains.com/client/conveniencsnb/bg1/search.asp

Another List
http://www.c-store.com/wholesalers.html

Other useful books that can be bought from the CS NEWS Website are
located at the address
http://www.csnews.com/csnews/business_resources/index.jsp

Usefull terms:

"convenience store distributors"
"convenience store wholesalers"
'list of convenience store distributors'

You can also search the DMOZ directory. It might be helpful. It is
located at http://www.dmoz.com

Hope you will find the answer useful. Please clarify if you have
further questions. I will work with you to find out a possible
solution. Thank You.

Sincerely,
leader-ga
