I am looking for the percentage of EU import tariffs in it's
government budget income.
For example, I know that this percentage for the US is 1.3% (19
billion annual collected import tariffs divided by 1460 billion annual
government budget income) and for Latvia is 0.95% (16.2 million annual
collected import tariffs divided by 17.1 billion annual government
budget income); I need to compare these two countries with the EU. If
such information isn't available for the whole EU, any one of it's
member countries will do.

Perhaps somebody has this percentage for any of the 15 countries? Any one will do.

Thanks for the question. Here is what I found:

The budget of the European Union is financed in two ways; by tariffs
and by contributions from the member states themselves. Tariffs on
agricultural or industrial imports make up around 21% of the EU
budget. The remaining 79% (average estimate) of the budget is financed
through contributions by the member countries, calculated
proportionally based on gross domestic product. The European Union
does not have any real fiscal power of its own, but rather derives its
power through the contributions of the sovereign member states.

That question is different for each of the 15 EU-countries. Thought
the EU has a standard tariff, the money goes to the individual
countries. The individual countries pay a "membership fee" to the EU
governement.
