The Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com) provides the heights
of many celebrities. To find the celebrity that you are interested,
type their name in the search box on the upper left of the home page.
The following page may list more than one name if more than one person
shares this name. The list will include a description such as “actor”
or “crew”. Click on the name that you believe is the correct one.
The next page will show a picture, if one is available, birthplace and
date information and some brief biographical information described as
“trivia” or “mini biography”. Click on “show more” and you will be
taken to a detailed biography that, in many cases, includes the
person’s height.
You can also access this information by clicking on “Biography” in the
menu listed on the left side of the page.
IMDB does not only include movie actors. George W. Bush and George H.
W. Bush are both listed. George W. Bush is 5’11. George H. W. Bush is
6’2”.
Another webpage that provides the heights of celebrities is
AbsoluteNow.com (http://www.absolutenow.com/features/height1.html).
This website includes a 101 page list of more than 15,000 names. You
can sort by first name, last name or by height. Heights are given in
feet and centimeters.
Unfortunately, the AbsoluteNow list is not searchable, so if the
person that you are looking for is not very short or if their first or
last name does not start at the beginning of the alphabet, it can be
very cumbersome trying to find them. You can however skip to a
specific page number by putting the page number that you want in the
URL.

By the way, just so you’ll know, this website has a lot of pop-up ads.
Another interesting source I found for celebrity heights is the
website of The Tall Club of New York City

This list includes about 450 names.
