facilities/plants. I just completed a list for Genzyme and the answer
would look like this

USA
San Carlos	CA	Diagnostic test kits and reagents

If the product manufactured can be determined that would be a plus, if
not, not to worry.

Hello Gill

I've started on this but am now wondering how comprehensive you need
the list to be. There isn't a ready-made list and compiling one
involves studying each of the more than thirty international websites
for Aventis as well as Google searches.
There are extra frustrations in that each website varies, some don't
mention manufacturing, some are in languages I can't read (Indonesian,
for example) etc. etc.
I like tracking down information so I'm not complaining, just asking
for your comments.
If you could say how many plants you are looking for, or which
countries interest you most, it might help. Or if you have any other
thoughts, please let me know.

Hello again - thanks for getting back to me.

Unfortunately, Aventis don't make this easy. There isn't much rhyme or
reason to the way the information is organised on their various
websites. Part of the problem is that there really isn't one central
website that gives a clear overview.
It's got to the stage where I think I should tell you what's available
and see if you want it!


Aventis Pharma have 95 production plants and I've found more than half
of those, but for quite a number I have no information except the
location.

In North America, there's good detail for the USA.


In Europe I've found plants in these countries:

France 
Germany - (France and Germany both have lots of plants but don't
necessarily say what's being made at them.)
Italy 
Ireland 
United Kingdom

and one country (Belgium) stating definitely that it has no production
facilities.


I also have information for some other plants, mostly scrappy, but in
the case of India, quite detailed. (I was also delighted to find the
Indian site was in English which helped speed things up!)

Then there are one or two bits and pieces like links to more Aventis
websites.
Let me know if this would be of use to you and I'll post an answer.

believe, all or nearly all the European sites. It's been an
interesting challenge!

Aventis Pharma have 95 plants in 35 countries.

There are four manufacturing sites for Aventis Behring.  Aventis
Pasteur operate in sixteen countries, but I haven't discovered if they
