I'm looking for a C64 Game called "Gangster" as far as I can rememeber it also was named "Bandit". The problem is that there are a couple of C64 Games called gangster. The one I want is a kind of platform game. Some platforms "melt away" when you touch them. You have to go to a target to get to the next level. If someone can point me to a website where I can download it for a PC Emulator I would be willing to pay the price offered. | |

Hi, The game you are looking for is obviously "Blagger by Tony Crowther". A version of it translated to German has the name "Papagei Gangster". It's a lot like Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy. You can download the game at either: http://www.c64.com/detail.php?gameid=100485 or http://mitglied.lycos.de/centripit/c64-prg/0-b.htm Look for Alligata Blagger 64 (Aka Papagei Gangster 64 (Dt)) down the page Direct link: http://mitglied.lycos.de/centripit/c64-prg/alligata%20blagger%2064%20(aka%20papagei%20gangster%2064%20(dt)).zip or http://mitglied.lycos.de/vastar/c64-d64/k-r.htm Look for Papagei Gangster 64 (Dt) (Aka Alligata Blagger 64) down the page Direct link: http://mitglied.lycos.de/vastar/c64-d64/papagei%20gangster%2064%20(dt)%20(aka%20alligata%20blagger%2064).zip Also you can find a basic review of it can be found at lemon64: http://www.lemon64.com/games/details.php?ID=3177 Note that this game have no copyright holder anymore, and is free to download. Have fun Bio |
