Hello, I am looking for large amounts of Buddhist texts in digital form in Sanskrit or Tibetan. I have already found these - The Asian Classics Input project - The two Pali Tipitakas on CD - Some essential texts like the Dhammapada and Heart Sutra and the Bodhisattvacaryavatara - Some short quotations here and there Is there a Mahayana project similar to the Pali Tipitaka CDs? I'd be mostly interested in the essential sutras, and on the other hand to have as much texts as possible. The ACIP project is actually more than one could hope for, but I am asking this in case I missed something in Sanskrit or something even more comprehensive. Thank you |

You may want to contact Dr. Alfred Bloom directly. He is one of our leading spokespeople for Jodo Shinsu Buddhism and a top notch expert on Mahayana in general. Since we are the world's largest Buddhist denomination, he may have the information you are looking for. http://www.shindharmanet.com/ - you will find an email contact for him at the bottom of the opening page.
