Hi SJ,
I took a look at the listings on your site and, from my research, the
Meetings and Events you listed seemed to be the closed thing to a
central clearing house of conferences for survey methods, etc. that I
could find. However, I did find the following links.
AllConferences.net (http://www.allconferences.net/) lists a wide
variety of conferences on a great deal of subjects. While not
targeted directly at your audience, some subset of the conferences
listed might be helpful.
Another place that seems to congregate conference information that is
The Conference Board (http://www.conference-board.org/index.cfm).
Some subset of the conferences they list may be of interest to you. A
listing of the conferences they host is at
http://www.conference-board.org/conferences/index.cfm .
FreeSeminar.com (http://www.freeseminar.com/index.cfm) touts itself as
"the most comprehensive directory of live educational events including
seminars, workshops and continuing education classes." You might find
some events there as well.
The Google Directory Service an area where you might find events that
would be useful to your organization: Business>Resources>Events (
http://directory.google.com/Top/Business/Resources/Events/?tc=1).
The American Statistical Association has a section of its website
dedicated to survey methodlogy (http://www.amstat.org/sections/srms/).
On that page, they list the conferences that they cosponsor.
The International Association of Survey Statisticians keeps a listing
of conferences at http://www.cbs.nl/isi/iass/conferences.htm
The Princeton Survey Research Center
(http://members.bellatlantic.net/~abelson/) has a list of Survey
Research Organizations, as does the University of Kansas
(http://www.ukans.edu/cwis/units/coms2/po/index.html). The University
of Kansas site also ranks the different survey organizations on the
quality of information on their site.
Panorama Business Views (http://www.pbviews.com/index.asp) develop
software to measure performance. They've listed a few seminars on
their website relating to Banking/Finance or Government.
Tangentially, their magazine Perform seems to offer information that
might be helpful to your website.
I hope that this helps you find events that pertain to your
organization.
Take care,
Metis |
