days when no pro sports are played - no games on what two days?

Interesting riddle. . .

Based on a trivia site, the two days are the day before and the day
after the Major League Baseball All-Star game.  It's off season for
other sports (NBA, NFL, NHL) and no baseball games are played.

I think Joey probably has the answer you're looking for - however,
minor league professional baseball IS played on those days

This is a common trivia question, but the question ought to be more
specific in asking "on which two days of the year do none of the FOUR
major professional US/Canada sports leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB)
play?" Only if the question is stated in that way would this answer
("the day before and the day after the MLB All-Star game") be correct.

Of course, the fun nature of this trivia question might sound dull if
one were to elaborate as such. Nonetheless, just think of all the
other possibilities (by the way, I think the last comment was
stretching it by suggesting minor league baseball.) There is the PGA,
PBA, pro fishing, WNBA, NASCAR and all the other racing circuits, MLS
(Major League Soccer). I'm sure at least some of those valid
professional sports play on the day before and after the All-Star
game.

So technically, there are professional sports EVERY day of the year,
but the question as it is traditionally stated is vague. However, if
what is implied is understood to be true, then the answer given is
correct.

Additionally, there is the possibility that the WNBA has games
scheduled on that day.
