I have not been able to locate anything other than a reference in a
local journal. His website is www.krikko.com, but the link is to some
other website with no reference to himslef or his works.

If there is nothing more than a possibility of his company location,
it would be useless, as was the link to his website.

Thanks for your input.

Hello papaleo!

Krikko Obbott's full name is Gregory Krikko Obbott. He grew up in a
small Nigerian village, and got his earliest artistic start by drawing
on mud bricks with bits of charcoal. He wasn't introduced to pencils
until he entered grade school, which changed both his artistic
expressions and his future career choices.

An architect by trade, Krikko Obbott graduated from the school of the
arts and architecture at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in
1981. He uses postcards and photographs to assist him with
perspectives for his pencil drawings, and says that these drawings
allow him to combine architecture with his love of the fine arts. By
1999, he had been able to take this combined love and turn it into
more than 15,000 drawings of buildings in various cities all over the
US.

The artist has said that while his profession is that of "architect",
his true passions are drawing and playing the saxophone. He is
passionate about Jazz music, and at least one source dating from 1999
states that he was due to release a CD. I have unfortunately not been
able to locate this CD, nor has the proprietor of our local jazz shop
ever heard of Krikko.

As of the last available web page update, Krikko makes his home in New
Haven, Connecticut.

The Internet Archive shows the last archived copy of Krikko's website
as April 29, 2001. He seems to have since then utterly disappeared
from the web.

In NYC, you can find Krikko's work for sale in the following
locations:

# The Empire State Building: 5th Ave @ 34th Street, 86th Floor
# NYC The Statue Of Liberty: Liberty Island, NYC
# 304 Fifth Avenue
# NYC The Skyscraper Museum, 44 Wall Street NY, NY 10005
