A question like yours is best served by having a bit more information.
Is there a specific topic you want discussed related to energy? Are
you looking for a sociological look at energy shortage, a scientific
look at energy sources, an environmental perspective on procuring
usable energy, or something else entirely? What length are you
expecting? What level of discussion (secondary, university,
doctorate, etc.) are you looking for?

"The biggest problem the world will face in the 21st century will be
related to sources of energy. Discuss".
The main idea is the academic analysis of the subject. A general
sociological look at energy sources shortage is preferable, as well as
the environmental. Any other problems related to energy sources would
be most relevant to this subject. Any facts relating to this statement
would be very useful. A discussion on possible solutions of the energy
sources problem is essential. A university level discussion for an
essay of about 2000 words.

I'd like to make a correction. My deadline expires on 21 Jan 2003(in 3
days) and not in 21 Feb as I had previously mentioned, by mistake.
Thank you.

Hi! Would a collection of links (without the essay you requested)
that is relevant to your question be enough to be considered as a
legitimate answer? Would papers from other countries like Australia be
ok as well or is it have to be in the US. Just let me know. :)

Hi painter48:
Please realize that you will not be charged your $15.00 unless someone
answers your question, so there's no need for threatening legal
action. ;)
If you like, any of the researchers here will gladly provide you with
a list of resources to assist you in writing your essay. However, if
you are seriously expecting a full length essay, then I would advise
you that you probably won't have a very good chance of finding a
researcher who is willing to do so for $15.00.

I'd like to appologize for my attitude, but as you understand I had
really panicked. I expected an answer in 72 hours as you had told me,
but 8 days had already passed and I got nothing at all from you.
Anyway,I had mainly asked for info and/or links to get me started. The
essay was brought up by y o u ,and as my deadline was really
approaching, I agreed to anything you could give me. If $15 were not
enough, you should really let me know in order to raise the amount.I
think though, that $15 were enough just for the links and some general
info I requested and left to believe I could get. Instead there were 8
days of complete silence from you.
So you see it's not all my fault, but I do appologize for not reading
the FAQ pages more closely before asking the question.
Thank you.

Dear painter48:
An apology is in order from us. You are correct in assuming that
$15.00 is a fair price for links and general information, and I'm sure
that any researcher would have been more than happy to answer the
question. However, the phrasing of the question and its subsequent
clarification did not make it clear that it was not a full essay that
you required, but just general information. Researchers are
understandably reluctant to answer your question without being
completely confident that their answer is what you want. I hope you
can give the Google Answers service another try in the future. Sorry
if it disappointed you this time.

If you have a look at my account history you will see that all I was
expecting was just links and information to help me do my essay. If
researchers were unclear about what I needed they should have asked me
and I would gladly made it more clear for them. Instead, they kept
silent for 8 days while knowing that my deadline was approaching.
Anyway, this is all in the past now. However, I would appreciate it if
you give my question another try. This is what I basically need for my
essay: The main idea is the academic analysis of the subject. A
general sociological look at energy sources problem is preferable, as
well as the environmental. Any other problems related to energy
sources would
be most relevant to this subject. Any facts relating to this statement
would be very useful. Possible solutions of the energy
sources problem is essential. AGAIN, ALL I NEED IS LINKS AND GENERAL
INFO ON THE SUBJECT. (I would be thankful if I got the answer within
24 hours) Thank you.

You don't seem to fully understand the system here.
Google obviously does not provide guarantees that your question will
be answered (if they did, why would anyone ask anything but $2
questions?). What they do is provide a place where people with
questions (you) and people with answers (us) can get together. They
also screen Researchers to make sure we're reasonably competent,
courteous, etc.
The way this works is that Researchers come here to sell their time
answering questions. Questioners come to buy the time required to
answer their questions. You, as a questioner, post your question and
how much money the answer is worth to you. As Researchers, we come
along and spend a few minutes searching to see how long it would take
to answer your question. If the amount you are offering for the
answer is worth more than our time, your question gets answered.
Otherwise, you're out of luck. Since someone in the the field
appropriate to your question can answer you more quickly than someone
with general knowledge, the system tends to self-select for experts
most qualified to answer your question. In this case though, it seems
nobody is willing to research and answer your question for $15. There
is a $0.50 non-refundable posting fee that Google charges; otherwise,
you're paying for an *answer*, not for posting the question. Since
you haven't gotten an answer, you don't have to pay for one. If an
answer is very important to you, you can raise the value of this
question hoping to attract more Researchers. If you haven't been
completely turned off to Google Answers by this little mess, I would
recommend that you start a new question. While I'm sure this has been
a misunderstanding, your belligerent attitude will probably make many
Researchers less willing to help you, so you're best off starting
fresh, as it were. You can also wrap up all your clarifications thus
far into one well-worded question, which makes Researchers more
willing to help you.
Please re-read the Google Answers Help and FAQ pages.
