Dear kenplex-ga

The person you are seeking is Prof. Ali Khodadoust

"Dr. Khodadoust is director of the Connecticut Eye Care Center and a
clinical professor of ophthalmology at Yale University, New Haven,
Conn. Contact him at (203) 562-2106; fax: (203) 787-5914."

Hi kenplex,

This is all I was able to find:

Persian Gulf Arabs Prefer Medical treatment in Iran
http://www.africafederation.org/feds/link8.htm

"Most of the Arabs residing in the Persian Gulf area prefer to seek
medical treatment in Iran, says Professor Khodadoost, a prominent
medical researcher and professor in the United States.

He says that Iranians have contributed significantly to scientific
progress in the West and have made many scientific innovations there.
Talking with journalists in Shiraz, Professor Khodadoost also said
that the necessary ground for the scientific progress of the youth
should be prepared in the country and that by implementing certain
policies, the country can pave the way for the return of educated
Iranians living abroad. He also said that every Western thing is not
necessarily bad and that Iran can use their technology without
importing their culture.

Professor Khodadoost treats eye patients in Shiraz for several months
every year.

Hello Tlspiegel,

Thanks for trying, as you might of guessed it doesn't get me any
closer to this surgeon.

I need to find this man for the sake of a blind child.

Regards,
Ken

Were you going to ask or hire the doctor's services to come to the US
to perform an operation? Good luck in your quest--what a wonderfully
noble and humanitarian objective.

It is possible that his occupation or professional advancement
requires him to sometimes relocate. Try to reach him through the
ALAVI HOSPITAL in Shirazi, Iran--his phone number is shown on the
hospital website (visit the hospital's website at www.tbzmed.ac.ir).

SINCERELY,
