I am a flute player in search of an effects processor box. I have an electric barcus-berry pickup (internal). I am looking for something along the lines of the Korg Pandora PX3 and/or PX4 because of the following features: 1. Multiplicity of controllable effects (reverb, delay, chorus, distortion). 2. Portability. 3. Direct output to headphones (i.e. does not require an amplifier). 4. Works on batteries as well as AC. BUT I would like something that would be more oriented to accomodating a flute. The PX's (like many other effects boxes) are very oriented toward guitar. Also, I would like to be able to synthesize the sound where I would be able to emulate some other instruments - namely violin, other woodwinds and percussion. I would like to spend no more than $400. Can anyone suggest effects processors that would have the aforementioned qualities? |

Generally speaking, you will probably need two separate unitsone for FX and one for synth sounds (although it is possible that a combination device exists). I will definately look for something for you when I get the chance, though. |
