A list of large logistics companies that have large US government contracts

Hello;

	Following is a list of the top fifty companies listed according to
the net value of the awarded contract by the US federal government.  I
found the information by searching various search engines and asking
for a listing of US government contractors.  For further information

 This site contains current information on the top 100 companies
contracting work with the federal government and breaks down the
information into various tables so you can access the information you
need.

This gives a listing of the top 200 government contractors in FY 2000.

To the casual observer, the dominance of the Oil companies in this
list is interesting. BTW: is the listing based in any manner on
dollars expended or simply "contracts?"

That list is deceiving because it is for the Defense Logistics Agency,
which is responsible for the logistics of the military.  Obviously,
fuel is a major purchase that is needed for all aspects.  The list I
provided has no oil companies and, as an example, number one on the
DLA list at $587 million would not rank in the top 30 largest
contractors overall.
