Hello rams3388-ga,

A good place to look for information on foundations and corporate
grantmakers is The Foundation Center. Among its many resources are
listings of web sites for private foundations, corporate foundations,
grantmaking public charities, and community foundations.

"Web Sites of Private Foundations"
The Foundation Center
http://fdncenter.org/funders/grantmaker/gws_priv/priv1.html

"Web Sites of Corporate Foundations"
The Foundation Center
http://fdncenter.org/funders/grantmaker/gws_corp/corp.html

"Web Sites of Grantmaking Public Charities"
The Foundation Center
http://fdncenter.org/funders/grantmaker/gws_pubch/pubch1.html

"Web Sites of Community Foundations"
The Foundation Center
http://fdncenter.org/funders/grantmaker/gws_comm/comm.html

If you search for "tn" on the first three of these pages, you will get
lists of grantmakers in Tennessee. (The fourth page is already
subdivided geographically.)

You can also try going to the bottom of The Foundation Center's home
page and searching on "Search the Site" for "Tennessee".

I hope that this information is helpful.
