I would like to know the url for a search engine keyword analysis
service similar to http://www.wordtracker.com , but for spanish
language keywords and searches. If one service does not encompass the
functionality provided by wordtracker I would like one for each ofthe
following: a spanish keyword suggestion tool and a service that lets
me look at the most frequent searches for a particular keyword set ,
on spanish language search engines. I am only looking for srvices
dealing with spanish search terms and would do not wish to recieve
references to "consultant" services where I must hire someone to do
the keyword analysis", instead I prefer "do it yourself" databases.

Here is a keyword service similar to wordtracker that allows for
optimalization of both spanish and english keywords. At least that is
what they claim - I haven't used the product, and since I don't speak
a lot of spanish, it is rather difficult to further research. I have
listed links to the original site the english translations below.

Please post a new answer, as none of the link syou potsde address my
question.

AgregarWeb simply provides search engine submission services. I speak
fluent spanish and nowhere on their site does it seem to provide a
service for keyword researching.

The other two links ("additional links") are also submission services
who happen to provide metatag translation.

Please reread my original question. I am looking for services that
allow me to research spanish keywords and their frequency. I also made
it clear that I am not looking for references to "consultant" services
where I must hire someone to do the keyword analysis.

I apologize for my original answer. I misinterpreted what you were
looking for. I have done A TON of research on this subject and it has
been rather frutrating. Unfortunately, there is not a service of
wordtracker's caliber available for Spanish keyword generation. The
market just isn't there right now, with Spanish speakers making up
only 5.4% of the online population.
(http://www.glreach.com/globstats/). However, there are some options.
Overture.com's keyword suggestion engine does generate Spanish
keywords that are tracked from many websites. I did some research on
Overture and found that they do have partnerships with many Spanish
search engines. These include the top 4 spanish language sites-
namely- Terra.es, Yahoo.es, Altavista.es and Lycos.es. Thus, the
results from Overture should reflect search term frequency on these
Spanish speaking sites. I entered some Spanish keywords and found the
results to be pretty strong. There are some problems with the site
though. Mainly, it won't provide you with synonyms, etc. The key to
searching on Overture is to use a very basic keyword and it will give
you more results, including more advanced search terms.

You are not alone in your search for a "Spanish Wordtracker", I saw
people on many message boards looking for the same thing. The advice
that they most often received was to use Wordtracker (or a similar
English keyword generator) and then translate the search terms to
Spanish. Many people claim that this works great and is very accurate,
as long as the translator is fluent. They warned against using
electronic "web translators". But, since you are fluent in Spanish,
this may be the best way to go.

Another service, Buscamundo.com, provides business information and
other valuable search info on Spanish websites. You can enter Spanish
keywords and it will produce related search terms and web sites as
well as statistical information.

I have provided links to these sites and some excepts from message
boards regarding your question below.

Good luck!

I've tried to get this one answered myself. I called Wordtracker, and
was told they don't have the licenses, whatever to track on Spanish
search engines. One person responded on a list-serv that they use
Googles Adwords tool to sort through the possibilities.

I haven't found any such service either. Many of the Spanish-language
search engines use the same databases as do the English ones; only the
interface is different, so you might be able to get reasonable results
with some of the English-language services just by plugging in Spanish
words. In any case, I did find this list of most frequently searched
terms in Spanish, which doesn't answer the question but is of
interest:

Try the Overture Search Term Suggestion Tool at:

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

It is an English-language tool but Overture provides
search services to many popular search enignes such as
Yahoo, Altavista, Ask Jeeves, MSN, Netscape and it seems
that a large number of foreign-language searches are
tracked. The tool provides related searches and the
number of searches on the Overture network for a previous
month.

I'm extremely sorry - the translation was rather rough and I
interpreted the following incorrectly:
"this excellent tool of positioning of finders has including the most
popular finders in English and Spanish."

I assumed that "finders" was a synonym for "key words", but under
closer analysis it appears that it simply means people searching the
web. I apologize for the mistake and will research the question
further.
