Hi there. I can answer your question, but before doing so, it looks
from the comment below by factsman-ga that a researcher has previously
answered this question. The answer was presumably removed at your
request, or exists in a duplicate question. So that I can properly
answer your question, perhaps you could say what it was that you
didn't like about the previous answer, and also state more precisely
what you are after.

My answer will consist of the formal requirements plus the exact
practical steps that you will need to undertake. In addition the
following information would help me to give you a better answer:

- What nationality are you?
- In which European country are you currently registered as a
physician?
- What are your medical qualifications? eg Medical Degree,
postgraduate medical training, specialism, membership of professional
bodies
- Do you also require information about the viability and practicality
of emigration to the United States, or simply medical certification?

Hi rickpeterson,

I'm assuming from Missy's comment below that you are actually
interested in licensure in Canada?  If you could let us know in which
province you are interested it would help - the medical colleges of
each province set their own licensing rules and regulations.  If
Canada works the same way as the US, being licensed in one province
may not mean that you can practice in another.
