Dear kemlo,

I have found a book containing exactly the information you are looking
for. Would you be interested in this, instead of a website (which
seems not to exist anywhere)?

Scriptor

You may want to give this a look:

http://www.hmrs.org.uk/infoexchange/infox026.shtml

There is a posting there that reads:"I would be happy to help anyone
who would like information on named loco's if they have a question. My
database contains information on nearly 9500 names, and I am working
on my 11th pre-grouping company."

The posting is from 1999, but you never know
