I am researching a pair of Andirons from "Tenn. Chrom. Plate Co.
Nashville". They have a musical note symbol front made of brass. Also
there is a set of fire place tools with musical note brass tops and a
log holder of black iron woth a brass handle. I would like to date
these items and put a estimated value on them. There are no breaks or
cracks and the front symbols are in like new condition. Kovels guide
book has a pair of "Chrome Plate Co." Andirons, Owl, Twig Base, date
1890, $495.00, Book year,2000, page 247. Is this the same Co.? And
should I value my set based on this set in Kovels?
