I am looking for a Scandinavian hanging glass lighting fixture vintage
mid 20th
Cent. It consists of two truncated glass cones opening downward, the
outer one
of translucent blue glass about 9" in Dia., and the inner one of
translucent
white glass about 6"in Dia. The inner white one protrudes about 2"
below the end of the outer blue one.
The fixture originally came in a cluster of three of these double
cones, each
suspended at a different height by wires of three different lengths. I
would be
glad to purchase the entire cluster of three, or any of the individual
cones if
they can be found.

I have a folder with a photo of the fixture and a dimension drawing
and some
written comments which might be helpful, but i have been unable to
attach it to
your comments box. Instructions from you on how i might be able to
send this information to you would be very helpful. Thank you

Google does not provide any facility for uploading files for
researchers, so you'll need to upload to a third party site, then post
the link to your file(s) for researchers to look at. Here is a website
that can handle your situation conveniently, and it is free for basic
services, which is all you'll need:
http://www.villagephotos.com/
Ask for Clarification again if you have any trouble using this site.

Hmmm. As Gilda Radner used to say on Saturday Night Live, "It's always
something."
When I posted my suggestion to use Villagephotos to host your photo, I
had not noticed acerearcher-ga's earlier suggestion to upload to
http://www.imagemagician.com. I just took a look at that site and
didn't see any limitation on individual photo size (just an overall 1
meg user limit). Why don't you try them and see what happens - they
offer a free two week trial.

Have you been able to access the picture and dimension sketch which I
have posted to my personal website?
Is there any additional help which you would like me to provide to aid
in
your search?

Had no problem accessing your photo/sketch. So far have had no luck
locating the lamp, however. The difficulty, of course, is that the
internet is more useful for locating specific text than graphics. Will
look some more, but can't make any promises.
