As a follow up to my question ID 137722, I should now like to know
more about Maude Allen, the actress and, in particular, when did she
die?

Maud Allan, the dancer, and Maude Allen, the actress, have often been
confused and the latter introduced a middle name 'Pierce' at some late
stage.

Maude is listed as having played Fat Lady in the 1936 film version of
'Show Boat', etc.
